The short version
This site sets one cookie that it cannot work without, and asks before it sets anything else.
If you choose Essential only, nothing is sent to Google. Not a reduced amount, and not an anonymous ping — the analytics script is never loaded at all. You can confirm that yourself in your browser's network tab.
Cookies this site uses
Strictly necessary
| Cookie | What it does | When it is set |
|---|---|---|
sp.refresh |
Keeps you signed in to the Title One app. | Only if you sign in at /app. |
That is the whole list. It is scoped to /api/auth, so it is not sent with
ordinary page requests, and it is not used to track you between visits or
across other websites.
Your cookie choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It never leaves your device.
Analytics — only if you accept
If you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart and to count how many people reach each page. We use it for one thing: working out which pages actually help people and which do not.
We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Changing your mind
Your choice is remembered until you clear it. To change it:
That clears the stored choice and reloads this page, so the banner appears again. Clearing your browser's site data for this site does the same thing.
If you have already accepted and want analytics gone immediately, choosing Essential only stops the script loading on your next page view; you can also clear cookies for this site in your browser to remove what was already set.
Videos
Pages with a video show a still image and a play button, and load nothing from Vimeo or YouTube until you press play. Once you do, that video provider can set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Not pressing play means not contacting them at all.
